On behalf of Södra Smålands Avfall och Miljö (SSAM), we are now looking for a responsible and technically skilled operations technician for SSAM's waste facility in Häringetorp, Växjö.

Main responsibilities:
• Operations and ongoing work with optimization of the pretreatment facility and leachate system
• Plan and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on containers, machines, pumps, and other equipment
• Repair of containers
• Participation in procurement, quote management, and contact with external suppliers
• Responsibility for the workshop part of the facility – developing routines, ordering spare parts, maintenance planning, flow efficiency, etc.
• Responsibility for sampling, fire protection work, and electrical inspections
• Receive and manage contractors and participate in audits and other inspections
• Perform some machine operation such as wheel loader and forklift
• Responsibility for documentation related to operations, service, and safety

Be a support to the unit manager and participate in the overall planning and strategic work for the facility

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Requirements:
• Welding certificate or technical education with relevant experience
• Several years of experience in a similar role within operations/maintenance
• Good knowledge of maintenance planning and technical documentation
• B driver's license
• Certificate for Hot Work
• Computer skills and experience documenting (e.g., process mapping)
• Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious:
• Crane license
• Forklift license A + B and wheel loader authorization
• Fall protection training
• Certificate for mobile work platforms (e.g., scissor lifts)
• Previous experience in ordering goods and managing supplier contacts
• Knowledge of the German language
